Tuesday Tip: Don’t Let Your Design Fall Flat
“Bright and white” doesn’t have to equate to boring. Amping up your design can be as simple as the shape of tile you incorporate (like with this herringbone backsplash). White is a popular choice for its clean, contemporary look and works with almost any design theme, from traditional to rustic and beyond.
When you incorporate multiple white elements into your kitchen––such as cabinets, trims, and appliances––keep the design from falling flat by creating contrast. Pair bright white cabinetry with black countertops and dark hardware. Or create a white “feature wall” and paint the remaining walls a complimentary color.
